"Dream palette" and other VVC properties

What does the "dream palette" do to the graphics? And can I substitute another palette? There is something about "Non-reserved palette" and "Custom palette." I suppose those change the colors of the BAM to play, but what interests me is that "Dream palette" alters the color of the light spot, if that's enabled, from blue to yellow. If it's because the dream palette turns the BAM yellow, then are other options for other palettes possible? I don't see any changes to the light hue for other checkboxes there or loading a custom palette, just this "dream" business.
