Unable to open any Baldur's Gate game

Hi, recently wanted to play BG again and apparently even after uninstalling & reinstalling it, I'm unable to open it.
Here is the crash file, if anyone could help I'd appreciate it

Unfortunately I can't even reach the Play button.
I tried the rest, nothing

OK. Could you attach a directx diagnostic summary
(Windows/R, type dxdiag, click ok, wait for the green progress bar to complete, save all information)

& could you also try installing / re-installing directx 9.0c (can be installed alongside later versions).
