Question Regarding NWN:EE and Servers

Good afternoon NWN veterans. I'm a returning modder who just heard NWN was getting the EE treatment. Can't tell you how excited I am. I was the primary scripter/designer for Dark Hour, if anyone remembers. I plan on recreating it from scratch.

My question is, considering Gamespy no longer exists, how will people find servers? Does Beamdog provide and manage the server browser? Or is it gone entirely? Does it rely on word of mouth and direct IP connections? I haven't been in the scene at all since NWN faded out, obviously.

Any information is appreciated.

    Beamdog has a new master server. Prior to that, we used a community solution to list and find servers.

    Thanks, yes I just found that in the FAQ's. Appreciate the quick response.

    "Will the server browser work again?

    Yes, the server browser has been rewritten so you can once again find servers for multiplayer. At this time the original NWN restrictions apply: The server host must be reachable at the external UDP address and port advertised through your NAT firewall."
