pallet limitation - can it be expanded?

The issue is a pallet limitation then BOOM -- in the CEP there are many items I will love to have available for my persistent world - items and monsters, however the "evil" pallet limitation stays my hand from so much content. This limitation hits hard on worlds trying to use some of the crafting offers since so many items are added to the pallet for the crafting (We at Realms of Annakolia worked around that but others don't have our scripts)

In essence - can we get a whole lot more pallet space for items and critters please.
