Creating a multiplayer party

I was just curious if anyone on the forums would want to set up a multiplayer party? I never got a chance to play multiplayer back in the day and would love to have a roleplaying party once this comes out if anyone is interested please post on here and we can get a game set up =)

    I'd certainly be willing to join. I just pre-ordered the game. What type of class are you thinking of playing? (Druid and/or Mage for me)

    Usually a Melee Fighter with ranged capabilities :) It would be nice to have Elminster rolling around the sword coast with me lol =)

    I'll probably just go with a druid. Its not a class that a lot of people play but it is best at the 1 - 10 levels (which is what BG1 is in its case).

    Hey out of curiosity what is your time zone? I'm Eastern US (Toronto/Chicago, New York, etc)

    @Ascerion yea I never got a chance to play the original with multiplayer im not sure many have I heard the originals multiplayer was atrocious lol.

    Well in BG1 since clerics can't get raised dead (they don't get 5th levels spells) as a druid I actually get better healing spells then clerics do. But it never hurts to have more healers. We definitely need a thief though. I'm not risking my neck walking over any traps :D

    @elminster or we can send the half-orc or myself over we should have enough hp if we cant get a thief

    @elminster it works on some traps once there tripped they wont fire again =)

    Ooh ooh I can change my decision! I may do a thief/mage or something similar? I can just be a Dwarf thief, that works for me too.

    You know I was just thinking "send the half-orc" in my head, but I wasn't going to write it first lol. But outside of Durlag's tower most of the traps are survivable as I recall.

    I'm going to be a half-elf shapeshifter just so we are clear. The manual has confirmed at first level I can become a werewolf which is sweet.

    @elminster lol Durlags tower is scary not sure if I have ever finished the whole thing =/

    I never did. I got maybe 2 floors down and was like "fuck this". I normally just go there for the wisdom tome.

    Its brutal I somehow finished watchers keep which is far harder escp the battle with the final seal before Demegorgon ugh that brings back even worse memories.

    So far we have 3 front-line fighters. Very good!

    Agree that a Cleric would be nice, but I'm not sure anyone would want to be a healbot. Lol.
