Water shaders, some useful information

Ok some have been asking about seeing the shader effects. I did some checking and found out that it going off the presets in the visual of the area property unless extreme. So select exterior stormy, not just adding wind to the area. The location of the shaders is in ovr folder. I have not noticed rain / snow affecting the water( when I think of interacting rain I think of tiny droplets off the surface).
I just like to add this is fun, playing with the shaders you can have some unique results, I post some pictures later.
I have been using notepad++ to view and edit the shaders.

Rain does ripple the water surface slightly. Not rings though.

Ah I still do not see it, it must be tiny. I see if I make it more pronounce.

It doesn't (if you look at vswater.shd file, you'll see the relevant line commented out). Rain affects the water color, while wind affects the wave size and speed. Likely, your wind changed with the rain.
