Request - script editor not a modal

Can we make the script editor not a modal of the main toolset window? Very often I want to edit a script, while looking at something else.

    I'll join in on this request. Even better, I'd like the ability to use a different editor (Notepad++, or Visual Studio Code, or whatever).

    I made another thread, but work flow in toolset could be improved. It's very slow going, having to always close and re-open the windows you are working on.

    I don't care how it's done, but off hand I'd suggestion: multiple windows, non-blocking. Ability to build/test quickly and get back to what you were working on.

    Having external editor is great idea.

    Having a game in the background and doing a "instant reload" on build/save would also be great.

    (ie, save something, switch back to game to see changes made)
