Regarding current game versions and future on steam

If I buy NWN:EE now, will I be able to play it through steam in the future, or it will be working in a whole separated distribution system?

Also, it is not clear for me after reading the /products page what are the difference between the DD and the standard version of the game.

If you buy NWN:EE now through the Beamdog store, you can later ask for a Steam key. Beamdog will deactivate your Beamdog copy and give you the Steam key to activate on Steam.

The Digital Deluxe edition includes three additional premium modules, as well as more character portraits.

    Thanks!!

Would love to read that from an official source though.

Edit: As a side note, I wouldn't mind playing it through beamdog, but I use linux, and if I got right there is no linux client for beamdog

@fot1 this has been true for all other EEs, plus they mentioned it in streams :)

    From the NWN:EE FAQs:

If I buy on Beamdog.com will I get a Steam key?

Yes, you can request a Steam key from support@beamdog.com
