Purchasing Questions!

I'd like to buy it twice; once for me (CLEARLY!) and once for a friend of mine, who has never been within shouting distance of an Infinity Engine game.

His birthday is on the 28th; perfect all around.

So I was wondering, can I do what can be on PlayStation Store or the Wii Shopping and send as a gift or something like that?

Incidentally, I also don't know if he'd prefer the PC or iPad version. I don't suppose there's a way I could just pay for it and let him choose? I know there's a price point; either way it's cheap and I'm not bothered.

If no, then I suppose I'd just get the PC version for all the extras.

    For PC: Yes. When you go through the checkout process, there is an option to make it a gift. You'll need to provide your friend's email address. They will get an email saying they've got a copy coming. :)

    Because of contract limitations, each platform is sold independently of each other. You can't pre-order the iPad version, and will only be able to get it through the App store. There's no way to let him choose after you buy it.

    No matter. PC for all, then, as it was meant to be!

    Once the game is out on Apple's AppStore, you have the option to gift the game there too if you own an Apple device.

    Okay, thanks for the info! I've never owned an Apple device in my life, so that comes as news to me.
