So let's start with that the prices on Steam are suggested by... Steam, and devs usually roll with it. But take a look here:
https://steamdb.info/app/228280/
https://steamdb.info/app/257350/
https://steamdb.info/app/466300/
https://steamdb.info/app/321800/
As you can see, prices for Poland are among the highest
Baldur's Gate 1&2/ Icewind Dale/ Planescape: Torment
Russia $7.12
Ukraine $10.13
Argentine $12.85
Norway $16.71
U.S. $19.99
Poland $20.11 (!)
You may say: "Hey it's only couple cents of difference! Get a job!"
But
Please remember that we have lower GDP, and we earn half as much as people in USA
IMHO price should be around $13
Please reconsider lowering prices on Steam

Furthermore, I assume that Beamdog has no control about price differentiation in certain countries on a third-party platform.
There are no extra taxes in Poland, situation with Steam is simply ridiculous.
For example:
Total War: Warhamer
Steam for digital key: 255 zł,
shop price with box, CD, instruction, poster etc: 150 zł.

Steam only SUGGEST price.
For example look at Polish games:
Any Witcher game:

Or Super Hot
https://steamdb.info/app/322500/
It's up to Developers to adjust price.
Baldur' Gate + Siege of Dragon Spear
72 zł + 72 zł = 144 zł
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS
72 zł
https://steamdb.info/app/578080/
In shop I can buy boxed version of Witcher 3 + Blood and Wine + Hearts of Stone (GOTY edition) with extras for 130 zł. For remaining 14 zł I can go to the club (10 zł entrance, it's a fancy place) and buy shoot of vodka (4 zł)
PLN-Zł-Złoty
For example, the average Pole earns PLN 2,500 = 596 EU monthly and games average PLN 80 = PLN 19 If you have a family and fees. This food costs about 150 PLN per week per week = 600 PLN = 143 EU for this charge, electricity is a gas, flat in a block goes out about 1800 PLN = 429 EU. So with a good month, you can save 100 PLN = 23 EU, of course, I did not include things like clothes, beer, cigarettes, and various sweets or other types of chemistry, like Coola, or some toys for kids.
On more serious note: Polish developers spend the late 90's fighting for cheaper PC releases than what was had by everyone in this and the other continents, and now the reality of international online sales comes knocking. Them's the breaks!
Would you pay around 40$ for BG:EE on steam in USA? How about 80$ for BG:EE+Siege of Dragon Spear?
Kind of expensive right?
It's simply not fair that we have to pay so much, more then anyone else.
Dinner at a restaurant ranges around $15-$25 for food, more in places where you need to reserve seats.
One way of determining the recommended price for the game is find the price that you would spend on a restaurant and set the price around there.
