Better Asset Import Process for Aurora Toolkit

Hey - Got a Suggestion for the asset import pipeline - Would it be possible to get a better asset import process for NWN:EE?
Currently we use export scripts that are bound to autodesk products unless you use the unofficial Never blender export scripts.
Would it be possible to get a generic asset import process that converts lets say a .fbx or .gltf to the file format that the Aurora toolkit accepts internally?
It would just be easier on newer content creators for the aurora toolkit and would be a great Quality of Life improvement for NWN:EE.

glTF should definitely be looked at.
From the Godot Engine Lead Developer, Juan Linietsky:

There is also room for it to grow:

Mitigating the eventual reason to use Collada/FBX/OpenGEX with it.
glTF 2.0, which is the version to be supported:

Would it be possible to look at getting gltf or FBX support in the aurora toolkit?

As always, if you want more data formats then go vote for it on Trello.
In the meantime NeverBlender is going great guns and should support all the new stuff, hopefully the Unity method will pop up soon too.
Having a native toolset import/conversion for .fbx and other formats would still be the ultimate in long term ease of use, but for now at least the whatever-software-you-like > Blender/Unity > NWN pipeline revolves around freely available software not painfully expensive ones, even if it does take longer than is ideal.
Blender's not as awful to use as it used to be.
