Drizzt was always good ? or something happened that caused the alignment change ?

    Drizzt was raised by another (at the least neutral) drow. His mentors ideas and views on drow society pushed away from evil, but Drizzt also had a problem with his bloodlust, pushing him towards good. So I guess my answer is: YES.
