Unable to open Toolset

So I had to install NWN to a 2nd computer since my main is in the shop. After getting issues fixed to get the game to install with the proper cd-key, I am unable to open the Toolset.

I get a "Abnormal Program Termination" error message. Anyone know how to fix this? (already reported on the support site too).

    Ok, having the same issue now on an 2nd computer (laptop) windows 10, GTX 1070.

    already tried compatibility mode stuff etc.

    you ever solve this? my co-builder is haveing the same problem, he is forced to use his GoG version toolset atm

    I got it working on my laptop (win 10, gtx 1070) with:
    - installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x64 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86
    - then i had to activate compatibility mode (win 98 lol, tried all others, didn't work)
    - and i had to run it as admin
