Golden Pantaloons import?

I played through all of BGEE and SoD with the pantaloons in my inventory. Importing my character from the final SoD save, the pantaloons aren't in my inventory. Where do I re-obtain them or did it glitch? This is the first time I'm going through the games with the pantaloons so I'm not really sure if there is something else I have to do in order to have them in BG2EE.

if you import a character that is holding the pantaloons they will be found here in SoA:

in the first dungeon behind the painting where you find the dagger +1 and the healing potion x3 they will be there
