Waukeen's Promenade - No NPCs and not possible to enter buildings

Hello guys,

For some reason there are no NPCs in Waukeen's Promenade and it is not possible for my party to enter any of the buildings. I am running the latest BG2:EE with the latest update (not beta, which I already tested) on Windows 10.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but it does not work. I attached the related save game and a screenshot.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I am playing it on my computer (Windows 10 - 64bit) via Steam.

Steam? Cool.

Go to your Library, right-click on BG2EE -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Files*

* Caution: this will uninstall any mods that you may have.

See if it works.

Edit: Just opened your save and the same thing happened to me, so the routine above probably will not work, but you should try it anyway.

Do you have any mods installed?

This happens in any other area?

When did it started happening (after leaving Irenicu's dungeon or returning to WP later)?

I tried "Verify Integrity of Game Files" but, unfortunately it does not work.

I did not install any mods and this does not happen in any other areas. It started happening while I was doing side quests in Chapter-2 before going to Spellhold. I happened to see it by chance.
