Importing an area

I created two areas and several quests for a module which I would like to use for a different module. I was wondering if there was an easy way to move things over.

Yes, pretty easy. Export the areas and resources from within the Toolset, and open the new module and Import the created .erf.

File -->Export brings up a screen for selecting resources. Use the drop down arrow to select the Type. I think it defaults to Scripts. Go down the line of types to get all you need to move over. Area is the bottommost type.

Make sure to include all NPCs, Scripts, Convesations, etc., when you export. Make sure both modules have the same custom content, if any.

File --> Import to actually import them to your new module.

Oh, yes. Always create a backup before importing to your module. Just in case. ;)
