Freescape is looking for creative area designers who wish to create something new, unique and never seen before.
About the world
Freescape is a world in which a magical catastrophe tore apart the fabric of reality itself and destroyed civilization as we know it. It's a world without any talking NPCs or self aware enemies. It's a survival sandbox where players can have complete freedom to design whatever character they like and build structures, crafting stations and even houses to form settlements and even advance their civilisations together with other players. We also features a unique progression system where levels have been replaced with skills and perks not unlike games like Skyrim or Ultima Online.
Where you come in
While players have complete freedom in roleplaying and telling their own stories in the world. The world itself needs to tell a story through the design of the areas. A story of past hubris and present danger. A story of wonder, mystery and exploration.
The actual tasks
We got a lot of Freescapes mountainous, grasslands and foresty areas nailed down as well as half the underdark areas.
However theres work that needs to be done on a lot of cool regions. The jungle, the desert, the volcano and the ruined city that was ground zero for the magical disaster that tore the world apart are still largely untouched.
You'll have a lot of creative freedom when designing areas for freescape. We're mostly looking for visual talent as we can handle all the scripting, encounters content however we respect your creative input and whatever stories you wish the areas to tell. We're using the latest version of CEP (2.65) so you'll have a lot of shiny stuff to play with.

1
