When you get the hiccups. *Spoiler*

From what I remember playing the vanilla PS:T there is one quest where somebody curses you by making you hiccup repeatedly. You can get rid of the hiccups by finishing some sort of quest but what I really would like to know is if anyone has managed to finish the game while still having the uncured hiccups.
