Mac version - native or some kind of wine/wrapper thing?

Sorry if this is a known answer, but my search didn't bring up anything. I'd like to know before deciding to buy if the MacOS version is a native Mac client or if it's just the Windows version with some kind of emulation. Thanks in advance for any answers!
