Hotkeys Not Working (Mac)

I can get the hotkeys to work by clicking on them, but they don't work when just pressing the keys. None of the three hotkey bars function by the buttons listed. Thanks for any help you can offer!

    I found a fix. Can either change the use of the Function keys in System Preferences > Keyboard so that the Function keys always do the function assigned by the current program or app -- or, by default you can hold the Fn key and press the desired Function key.
