How do i separate stacked items???

Stupid question I know but how do i separate stacked items??? I found a stash of potions in a crypt (^_^ ). Now i want to distribute them to my crew. Please help.

    Double click on them then you can select an amount.

    If the stack is bigger than a normal stack it'd probably be worth it to just keep them in one giant stack to save space.

    I couldn't remember how this was done. I tried shift-click, ctrl-click and alt-click. :-P

    I almost submitted this as a bug. Thank you for refreshing my memory. ;-)
