Question about downloading mods, haks, etc.

I have played NWN before, I completed it twice, but when it came to downloading files for mods and all, I downloaded a bunch of haks and such - CEP, etc. - When it came time to play them or even load NWN, my game would crash. The files I had downloaded were all corrupt, and when I tried to get them uninstalled from my computer, they wouldn't uninstall. I don't want to go through that again. Where is the best (and safest) place to download files without the thought of corruption lingering in the background?

Honestly, It sounds like a bad download combined with something else going on with your computer, as typically you don't have to "uninstall" NWN custom content, as far as mods and haks go, just manually delete them and that's It.

With that said, the best place Is the Neverwinter Vault, aside from that, there's the Steam Workshop If you play through Steam, but the content available there Is laughable at best, when compared to the Vault.

Mods are safe to download from the Vault (see Guide) and Steam Workshop.
