The Pits

Hi all. I'm a long term player of the series, and usually play no-reload with some roleplaying. I haven't ever really tried the Black Pits of either edition as I'm usually more invested in the story of the BG series and its mods than the combat. I'd be interested to hear, in retrospect, what are your opinions about those game modes? Did you finish them? Were they memorable?
