NWN EE - restore pasting larger text into custom text macro

It used to be possible in NWN to paste a large text (such as a flavorful emote) into the custom text macro and quickslot it. It is not possible anymore - it automatically cuts the paste to ~40 characters. Can this please be restored to enhance quality roleplay on persistent worlds? Thanks!

    Seriously? Maybe it'd be useful to look into the actual usage of a feature, before changing it and creating regressions
