Could BGEE borrow some AI from SoD?

How about letting some of that AI goodness found in SoD drip onto Baldur's Gate?

I guess it's a matter of brainstorming for plausible enemy analogies: for each enemy type in SoD, think about which (if any) enemy type in BG matches it closely enough to warrant a bit of AI behavior to be copied from the SoD type to the BG type.

The AI in SoD is pretty well tested, so what could go wrong..?

    I would love that. The difficulty is actually WORTH changing in SoD.

    sod ai is i think based around sod varied enemy groups, of which literally none exist in bg:ee
    therefore a careful refitting would have to be made

    btw i think bg:ee should the very least get the advanced goblinoid group and the sylvan group (both toned down), and mixed undead in the undercity, exactly like those at the start of SoD
