Changing the resolution on the MacBookPro

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I've been playing BG:EE, BG2:EE, etc., on a MacBookAir with a screen resolution of 1440x900, and it worked great. I'm now trying to play on a MacBookPro with a resolution that's double that and the game elements are now so small that I can't really play the game. I don't see any way to change the resolution to something more functional with my screen. Is there a setting I can change?
