shifter experience bug still around?

Howdy -- considering a SoTu / HotU run with a human druid/monk/shifter build.

i recall back in the day that when one shifts into an elf shape -- drider or drow --one gets hit with an experience penalty if you have an "illegal" elf multiclass. That the game reads the shifter as an elf in those shapes, and hence the normally "legal" human monk/druid leads to an xp penalty. An unfortunate bug

Any thoughts on if this still plays out with the EE?
