Scrolling the chat/combat log with mousewheel?

Is this going to be added in a patch? I keep hovering my cursor over the window to scroll and end up having to click the unwieldy legacy buttons to scroll the text. This simple improvement would have a huge impact, especially for multiplayer.

    You can already scroll up and down with the mouse wheel. Make sure the cursor is hovering on the sidebar that you are currently clicking to scroll

    It didn't seem to work for me when I was trying on my Windows install. I'll try again tonight.
