Familiar Bug ?

Tried searching for this one a few ways with no hits..
It doesn't happen every time, but after taking control and returning to PC , I get rapidly transported across the module typically near the start location. This has also happened on occasion in DM mode if a player kills the creature while I have taken full control. I should note this occurs playing on a PW , have not tested in oc or expansions. Thanks for any help / insight.
