Transferable Plot Items

I think I want some items gained in one module to potentially unlock quests in other modules. Like if you manage to complete a module without a henchman dying he'll give you a token which can be used to recruit him in a completely separate and unrelated module. Is this sort of thing possible?

    Absolutely. When the player exports their character (or you script that event) the inventory goes with them into the next module.

    The only thing to watch out for is that any custom item models must exist in both modules (normally achieved by using the same haks in both).
