Shoulders not showing up on player characters

Like the title says, PC's shoulders are not appearing, however when I run the DM client, they show up on my dm character and on all NPC's. Initially I thought this was an Issue with CEP but I loaded up some non CEP modules and the campaign, and still was having the same issue. Here's a screenshot for clarification

I've also experienced some sound issues within the toolset itself, and a lot of assets on armor seem to completely just turn invisible when editing the appearance
