Strongholds

I just defeated the red dragon as a Paladin and was expecting something more like an actual stronghold to rest or store items...Is the stronghold just the actual quests and rewards ( items ) or am I missing something??? Any comments are appreciated...

That and arguably the best weapon in the entire saga..

From what I hear the room's just a bed and a few boxes to store your stuff in. Very humble accommodations for one who has sworn off earthly pleasures or whatever.

The other strongholds tend to be cooler.

I think it's cool.. especially compared to some other strongholds that keep bugging you forever, and ever.. like thieves guild.. or the tedium of the keep, have to keep comming back to fend off some muppets.. ugh.

A paladin should be happy with a humble bed, some storage and the respect of his peers. He is after all a zealous servant of his god.. and not some lordling out to enrich himself.
