Please recommend a good 3D headset to use with NWN:EE

I would like to get something with 7.1 surround sound (does NWN:EE take good advantage of that?) and works on both PC and Mac for NWN:EE. Noise cancelling or soundproofing might be nice too if it is good enough to block out the noise of a barking dog downstairs when I'm trying to concentrate - but that is secondary as I doubt anything that effective exists. Wired is ok, bluetooth might be better if it actually works well. Main use is for NWN:EE and maybe NWN2 and DA, and general use headset with mic. I'm not an audiophile so when I look on amazon.ca for a headset I never know what is going to really fit my needs and is decent quality. I was thinking maybe in the 100 $CDN range but that's not a hard limit.

If you can confidently recommend anything on amazon.ca that fits the bill it would be appreciated. Thanks!

    OK, I see NWN:EE sound options have changed and removed the surround sound support so I guess it was a dumb question for now but I hope they bring it back.
