    The portrait file you want to use for the sidebar needs to be named exactly as the one on the Record screen, except for the last letter - L for record screen, M for sidebar.

    For example:
    PortL.bmp / PortM.bmp

    If you have matching L and M files, you just have to select the large one from the portrait selection menu. The other one will be displayed on the sidebar automatically.
