How to open the crash dump files?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
They are in .dmp format, and when I google how to open that, all i get are instructions on opening the windows crash dump files which dont seem to work for the BG 1 EE crash dump files...

    WinDbg or Visual Studio can open them. But it won't be very useful without the source code. Dump files are meant to be used by the developers. If you have a crash, you should open a ticket on Redmine so Beamdog devs can look at it.

    I tried but they refused to look at the crash dump files because I have mods installed.
