Cant find Edwin after he leaves the party to go to the copper coronet

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Edwin left and said he was going to the copper coronet, so I tried to find him there. But I dont see him anywhere...

He had the staff of the magi equipped so I think hes invisible. I tried using true sight and walking around but I still dont see him...true sight may not work on neutrals.

Any ideas on how to make him visible again?

    He should be standing on the stairs that lead to the hookers, in the top right. My guess would be that you will find him if you stand there with true sight.

    My guess would be that you will find him in the bedrooms with the hookers...at least two... :D

    Truesight doesnt work on neutrals i think (to stop neutral allies from dispelling your invisibility).

    I had to use NearInfinity to temporarily set the invisbility to 1 duration so that I could find Edwin to recruit him again...
