I am on twitter and apart from following various things BeamDog I also follow QI (link to wikipedia entry), a British comedy panel quiz show. Each day QI posts between 10 and 20 "Quite Interesting" facts. Amongst todays collection was this -

Vin Diesel taught Dame Judi Dench to play Dungeons & Dragons.


which I thought some of you might find of interest. If not, I apologise for wasting 30 seconds (or less) of your life.

    Without doing a load of research, I've no idea. That is all the info I've got.

    Wonder who his DM is... :D

    Now I want to play with him, Stephen Colbert, Dame Judi Dench, Dwayne Johnson. That would be seriously EPIC. (And yes, all of them play D&D as well.)

    It was on the set of Chronicles of Riddick.

    Dame Judi Dench loved the concept of the film but the chaotic shooting and general level of professionalism wore quite heavily on her. So Vin would play D&D with her as a way to take her mind of it and pass the time.

    No idea how true it is but that's the story I heard.
