Running game and toolset

Hi all.

Is there a way to have both nwn:ee open at the same time as the toolset?

Not sure if something was changed iirc it could be done earlier in the release of nwn:ee

I'm personally just launching the toolset from the nwtoolset.exe file in the steam folders bin\win32 directory (should be able to open the install location and open it from the exe file if you're using the beamdog client as well) with a shortcut. One thing to note, if you download any additional resources, haks/overrides/modules or the like from the steam workshop, you'll want to move said content across to the proper location for such in your documents folder (the steam workshop content doesn't play well with the toolset and doesn't play well if you open NWN:EE player or DM client via the exe file rather then steam).

I find the toolset runs better if you avoid launching it from steam, no idea why it just seems less prone to crashing in my experience.

Pressing F9 should in the toolset should also auto-launch your currently opened module for testing purposes perfectly fine as well.
