Opcodes for Fire and Cold damage in place of Poison?

Does anyone know how to change the effect of the "Poison" opcode into fire based ir cold based damage the inflicts x damage over x duration? Burn and freeze duration based damage coupd give weapon effects an added dimension they feel to be lacking.
