Killing Gamaz gives no XP

Hi,
I submitted a bug report via the adequate plateform and it has been confirmed that in versions 2.3 and 2.5, killing Gamaz would not grant any XP, nor would it be added to the count kill of the character who killed him.
I would like to know if it is a bug (to initiate the final Rasaad/Gamaz dialogue, Gamaz needs to be alive and very low on HP, and once the conversation is done, I guess a script tells Gamaz to die for good, so the character who gave the last hit is logically ignored, hence no XP or kill counted)
or
is it made purposely (maybe because benefiting of his death would be kind of immoral ? ) ?
Please not that before version 2.3, I think 5000 XP was granted.
Thanks.
