Is big world still valid for the EE's with the new update

Hey,

I'm just since recently interested in modding the game. I heard about a mod that intrigates the three parts of the trilogy into one single game... EET or something it was called.. This sounded very cute, like now i'l be able to experience the whole game with my superparty... Now, i've read somewhere that installing Big World will take care of everything and installs this mod too. Is this still a valid way of using that mod since i noticed Big World not being updated anymore?
