When I reform the party and leave Minsc, he turns hostile

I'm after the Dynaheir rescue quest and have both Minsc and Edwin in the party (I sent Dynaheir to have her killed by hobgoblins, then removed her from the party). I want to leave Minsc too after acquairing Dorn. When I leave Minsc behind, he turns hostile and attacks.

Is this a bug or intentional behaviour? (game version GOG 2.5.17)

    Do you have a save showing this? Preferably a save before removing Minsc from the party.

    Here it is. I don't use any mods.

    Yeah, that looks to be a bug. The following should solve it for now. Do that before you kick Minsc out.
