New mod install recomendations

When I install Big World Setup (for easy mod installing, not for Sandrah), I have many questions from all those choices. Like most of you, I am hesitant towards mega mods and overpowered items.

What quest mods are recommended?

Sellswords (the preferred one for me) is compatible with Reign of Terror?

Imoen's Friendhip still allows for Imoen's Romance if both are installed?
