C.D. key and multiplayer issues

Hello I purchased neverwinter nights enhanced edition on steam quite a while ago, but have only recently tried to play multiplayer. Unfortunately I am unable to connect to any servers. Whenever I try to connect to a server it tells me my C.D. key is unauthorized and I'm not sure how to fix it. What should I do?

    Ok just to let anyone reading this know I have found a fix for this problem by reading another post. What I did was delete my cdkey.ini file in my documents and validated my game files. This fixed the problem and I was able to connect to servers immediately.
