How come the Baldur's Gate II EE Graphics menu has some options that are not selectable?

For instance, Software Mirror BLT, Software Transparent BLT, and Software Standard BLT are all impossible to turn on. The only things lit up are Color depth 32, Full Screen, and Transparent Shadows. Does anyone know why this is or how to fix it?
