Solo sourcerer

in New Players (NO SPOILERS!)
So I play a full party on my pc with no issue, but on my laptop I’m attempting a solo human sourcerer run and it’s pretty rough. I can only kill like one mob and then have to run back and rest, how do I cast more spells per day??

    Find the ring of wizardry hidden in the FAI area.

    Get a few levels - the quickest way to do that is to kill some basilisks. You can protect yourself from their gaze using a scroll on sale at the Nashkel Carnival.
