I have recently been in contact with Dorrian, who would like returning and new players to be aware of the upcoming PW module. It will take place in the TON setting, has a new story and many custom changes to classes, feats , spells, etc..

The development team is on discord, along with many others from the old community. Stop by to see how the project is coming along or to say hi to members of the community. I used to play on TON with the user name Strom13.

    Little update from Dorrian : First Alpha release hopefully around New Years. It will include areas and quests covering levels 1-10. Each following update should be in chunks of 10 levels. Info on required haks will be coming soon. Anyone wishing to test or contribute to the module content should check discord and the link to github where the wiki is.

    Has there been a Vault Wipe since the Trials of Newcastle of old?

    Yes. This is a different module. It tells a new story. It has a different combination of available classes and quasi-classes.

    The new story is set in the same world, shares many of the same NPCs, and is basically a second chapter of the Newcastle story that you may have been a part of before. Because of the many changes that we have made to improve the game systems and module, we have wiped the Vault. There will not be another Vault wipe unless in the far distant future there is a new version of the NWN game and a third Newcastle module. We will not Vault wipe for expansion packs or other additions to the server.

    Will I will be at a disadvantage if I did not play the old server?

    No. In fact, the new module file and the Vault Wipe ensure that everyone is starting NWN:EE on equal footing. You are right up with the play, and can advance equally to everyone else.

    Wiki has been updated at github, Dev/DM team is taking suggestions for restricted and epic subrace types. Take a look at the template listed under restricted subraces for more info. You can contact the team on discord or feel free to pm me here if you have suggestions.
