Permanent labels on the radial menu isn't a yes/no IMO.
There is certainly an issue, especially with items that can cast multiple spells, because the icons are so cryptic.
However, I'd rather something like - long press shows the label, short press casts the spell - to save clutter.
To be consistent, this card probably relates to the one about clicking on items, too. After quite a few hours of gameplay now, I still find myself using / dropping / buying items, or launching their radial menu, when I'm simply trying to see the item name or move it into a quickslot. The problem with radial menus is closely related.
