Running Windows 7 on Parallels on a Mac

Any ideas if this will work?

    Parallels is terrible in general. I tried it on my Macbook Pro Retina. But it just uses so many processor and graphic power to run both Mac OS and Windows. That most games had terrible framerate. So Im back to using Bootcamp again.

    Yes, I just did it and it works just fine (Parallels 8 on a Macbook Pro Retina).

    I have to disagree in general with everything Chickenchaser just said. Parallels has been great for running my Windows games. You may need to give it more resources. My Windows VM is set to use 4GB of RAM, 1GB of video RAM, and 8 cores.

    I generally have problems due to underpowered VRAM I think. But it's running BG:EE fine at the moment!
