Now, I am an avid player of the Crusader Kings 2. While it is a great game and all, it has a nasty habit of auto updating (you can turn it off and 98% do not or don't know how and there is no option to revert to an older version). What this does is make every single fan made mod unplayable until they are adapted to the next version of the game. Which can take days or even weeks, depending on the modders who are working for free, meanwhile the players can't play the games they used to play.
Anyway, I just wanted to point out the craziness of modding if the game keeps on getting updated and changed. Both are a good thing, but not necessarily compatible.
